Woodworking on CNC Machines

IN FOCUS: Sanding Wooden Edges, Including Radii

Achieving optimal sanding results even with deformations in the wood, with workpieces of varying thicknesses, and when height and positional errors occur due to the tension in the wood. Performance must be on point. Efficiency is essential – seamless, resources-saving work processes.

We are all aware of the difficulties associated with CNC processing.

Our CNC SOLUTION: The use of 2-piece ARMINIUS® sanding tools on aggregates.

These aggregates – in this case from BENZ – are touching aggregates that operate on both sides simultaneously. Edges, including the radii, are sanded with just one CNC aggregate, using just one sanding tool, in a single process. This application thereby offers significantly simplified machining processes as well as precise sanding results. Further added advantages in the production of these workpieces include significant time savings and the resulting enormous cost reductions.

The tool components can be moved axially, allowing for variations in workpiece thickness. The two-part ARMINIUS® sanding tool is adjusted to the workpiece using air and spring pressure, thereby ensuring a perfect edge finish.

Simplified and efficient CNC sanding processes with perfect sanding results – thanks to ARMINIUS® precision tools and dual-aggregate touching!
